Welcome to my mom and dog blog!

I am here to help you with your struggles as a mom or a dog mom.  I don’t claim to be perfect, but I’ve tried a few things and I aim to save you from my failures and make my successes your successes.  My blog is intended for moms of babies and of dogs.

My name is Donna and I am a work-at-home mom.  I have two kids, Pancake (nickname for the boy) and Pepper (the dog).  I get to spend all day with these crazies and try to keep from going crazy myself!  I hope that I can help you on your journey to avoid getting the crazies too!

I call my boy Pancake because one day, as toddlers do, he was digging through cupboards I had accidentally left open. He got into the spice cabinet and found a few spices. One of them was the maple extract, which somehow, he had opened and gotten all over him. Despite multiple baths, he still smelled like a pancake for a few days. We’ve called him Pancake ever since.
